Full STEAM Ahead - Resources for online learning in K-12

In Spring 2020, MIT launched Full STEAM Ahead - a free online source of activities, videos, and readings for fun, hands-on STEAM learning at home. For Fall 2020, Full STEAM Ahead piloted a remote extracurricular club for 700 students from Spain and Massachusetts exploring all the topics from their Spring website.

We are proud to contribute music-based activities to the FSA website, as well two weeks of remote music-making curriculum that teachers, parents, or out-of-school time programs can use to lead a group of students.

10-hour music-making experiences that teachers and group leaders can run remotely with middle and high-school students. Requires computer, internet access to use Soundtrap, and microphone for recording - that's it!

Virtual Sound Studio

Explore the sounds around you, then use a free, web-based collaborative, audio editing app to create a piece of sonic art.
