Shadow Scenes

Using silhouettes, cut-outs, and 3D nets, students created vector designs of festive shapes that cast interesting shadows when lit with a tealight.

Project details

The designs were then laser cut, or cut out of cardstock with a craft cutter (Cricut, Silhouette, etc). A cover can be added to shield the view of the tealight - in cardstock, it can be a 3D net design that folds up to cover the back and sides of the tealight.
