Project details

After learning about different biomes, students worked in groups of 3-4 to create dioramas that they brought to life with micro:bits, servos, and various electronic inputs. The organisms in each biome reacted to changes in their environments; elephants reacted to sound by lifting their trunks in the air, a chameleon caught a fly when it got too close, and a sunflower turned towards the sun based on cloud coverage. Students presented their work in a gallery walk where their classmates were encouraged to interact with the dioramas.
