K-12 Maker sessions at Fab26 on the  MIT Campus,  July 27-31, 2026

​The Fab Lab Conference & Symposium, Fab26 Boston, returns home to MIT this summer after a decade‑long global tour.
​
From July 26 - 31, a diverse group of individuals united by a passion for digital fabrication, technology, and innovation will gather and share practical and theoretical content.

More structured than a MakerFaire, the Fab Lab Conference & Symposium promises to be fun and creative way to explore and network. 


​The K-12 Maker Lab will be leading these sessions:
Hands-on workshops:
  • Monday, July 27: 3 FABulous Quick and Easy Maker Projects
  • Wednesday, July 29: Become an electrical wizard: practical electronics for Makers and K-12 educators
  • Thursday, July 30: DIY Pinball part I - build a wooden tabletop game with laser cutter, 3D printer and hand tools
  • Friday, July 31: DIY Pinball part II - add LEDs, buzzers, motion, scoring, and micro:bit control to your game board
 
Working group for educators:
  • Tuesday, July 28: STEAM/Maker educators inspiring kids, enriching K-12 academics & creating experiences that AI cannot
 
Day passes and week passes are available. Come by and say Hi if you are attending!
